I trained as a counsellor in the early 1990s while living in Hong Kong.
Following my return to the UK I underwent further training with both Relate and The Institute of Family Therapy, and for the last 18 years have been working as a counsellor with couples, individuals, families and young people.
For several years I was a counsellor in a secondary school. I have also worked extensively with separating parents as they seek to shield their children from the impact of conflict.
I am a strong believer in the value of communication between parties with different perspectives and am committed to facilitating such communication.
Once lockdown regulations allow face-to-face counselling to resume, I can arrange to see clients in the Aldershot / Farnham area.
I am DBS checked, carry professional indemnity insurance and attend regular supervision and Continuing Professional Development.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to their strict regulations on ethical conduct.
